4 Possible Replacements For Anil Kumble As The Head Coach Of The Indian Cricket Team
Anil Kumble has been a neat guide to team India since his appointment in July 2016. He has been a tremendous ‘behind the scene’ hero for the Indian Cricket team for five consecutive victorious series. Four of them proudly won on the Indian Soil and one in West Indies.
Now nearing his one-year term’s conclusion, BCCI had announced the application open for the post of his replacement on May 25th and had received an interesting set of candidates to run the race, the last day being the 31st of May. Keeping his eyes and minds glued to this coach-contest is everyone’s beloved Nawab of Nazafgarh.
One of India’s most celebrated player and a part of two- time World Cup winning team, Sehwag played 104 Tests and 251 ODIs for India scoring a whopping 8586 and 8273 runs respectively. He applied for the post along with a few desi and International legends. Jumbo also gets a default entry in the coach- contest.

While the results of this match are getting speculated much, Captain Kohli believes that the coaching tenure should be extended to 3 years against the current trend of one year. If the management does agree to Kohli’s request, India will play 2 World Cup’s ( 2019 ODI World Cup and 2018 World T20 ) under the watchful eyes of the new coach.
If it is to be believed a rift is floating between Anil and Virat, but a source close to the team rubbishes the talk, stating that a healthy difference of opinions’ persists everywhere. Having said that, we will not like to focus on what went wrong and how as we are in the middle of a Mini World- Cup and there is nobody bigger than the game.
The final selection of the new Indian cricket team mentor will be made by an advisory committee of the three loved stalwarts in this Domain – Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, and Sourav Ganguly. Viru Paaji doesn’t carry prior experience in mentoring an International series, even though he had very well coached IPL team franchise Kings XI Punjab in the latest season of the Indian Premier League.
Cric Crak says that ‘experience’ is gained from getting experienced only and hopes the best and the right trainer is chosen, with immense trust and admiration for the advisory committee of Dada, our Tendlya, and VVS! Meanwhile, we wish more ‘POWER’ to Team India for the ongoing edition of the Champions Trophy.
