5 Names Which Surely Went Overpriced In The IPL 2018 Auctions!

The Indian Premier League 2018 auctions just got over. While at one end, few like Virat Kohli got deservingly great deals, a few like Dale Steyn undeservingly also went unsold. Then there were a few like Irfan Pathan who nobody even spoke about. That’s what the IPL auctions are all about rather. A casino for those who win the lottery and a major heartbreak for those who couldn’t make it.

They are also a few who got way more than they deserved based on the skill they possess. We are not complaining about it as there is nothing wrong to be ‘lucky’ in life either and maybe all of them must have done some good ‘Karma’ at some point in life. Here is a list of the 5 players we personally feel went a little overpriced as far as the recent auctions are concerned.

1) Jaydev Unadkat – Rs 11.5 Crores

There is absolutely no doubt that Unadkat has been improving every year and has been bowling with a lot of consistency, especially in domestic cricket. But the fact that Mithcell Starc was sold for Rs 9.4 Crore and Unadkat for a whopping Rs 11.5 Crores to the Rajasthan Royals makes absolutely no sense.
