While speaking to India Today, Ross surely did not hold back while expressing his thoughts about Virat Kohli. Interestingly Ross was also a part of the Royal Challengers Squad in 2008 when Kohli had joined the camp as an uncapped player. Ross expressed that he was glad that he had the pleasure of seeing Kohli grow from just a player to a World Class Player and felt that the Indian Captain would go down as one of the finest to have ever played the game of cricket.
He further quoted that while Kohli has been great in all formats of the game, he has been completely untouchable in the One Day Format. He also compared Kohli with his own captain Kane Williamson who he thinks is also very classy for this age. Ross also lauded the way Kohli has taken the extra burden of captaincy and still maintained his top game, rather enhanced it further and taken Indian Cricket to new heights.
