Superstar Indian batsman Rohit Sharma is all set to sit on the plane for Mumbai for a routine player medical checkup. The middle order batsman has been a part of the Indian side since the first test match but unfortunately for him he has not been able to cement a place in the playing X1.
India decided to go with the extra seaming all rounder instead and as a result he was replaced by India’s new rising star Hardik Pandaya.
In a recent statement made by the Board Of Control Cricket India ( BCCI) they announced that Sharma will be heading to his hometown Mumbai for a scheduled medical checkup as a follow up after his recent major surgery.
When Will He Be Back?
The BCCI statement released by( acting secretary) Amitabh Choudhary further stated that Rohit Sharma is expected to get on the jet plane to India on 3rd August and will return from India the very next day.
Cric Crak is glad that it is not a serious injury concern and is also overwhelmed to see the way BCCI looks after its players. After the surgery last November in London, Sharma was out of action for 4 months which was a major loss for Team India and we are glad that the BCCI along with the man himself, is taking all measures to ensure that there is no repeat of such a situation.
