The story so far
As we all know by now that Sir Jadeja has been suspended from the next Test Match Against Sri Lanka. The reason for suspension was that he breached article 2.28 of the ICC code of conduct.
A few of them are upset with ICC’s decision and think that the main governing body has been to harsh with the man of the match of the second test match. The list also includes former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar who thinks that it was a bit of an over reaction by the umpires to impose the ban.
Speaking exclusively to NDTV, Gavaskar stated, “Jadeja’s ban was an over reaction from the umpires and match referee. I am very happy that the ICC has been tightening up all the issues on the code of conduct on the field , but I think this one was a bit of overreaction. “.

Moving on post the second test match ,the latest ICC test rankings have been announced and Jadeja has topped the list of all rounders as well as bowlers while Ashwin is at number 3 in both the respective formats.
It seems like their captain Virat Kohli is proud of his boys and rightly so as they have been constantly winning matches for his side. He too resorted to twitter and expressed his happiness and gratitude by openly admiring and recognizing the importance of their contribution to Indian Cricket.
