In some breaking news coming in from the UAE, Pakistan wicket- keeper batsmen Mohammad Rizwan was rushed to the hospital post the India vs Pakistan game.

During the first innings when Pakistan were bowling , Rizwan landed quite awkwardly on his right leg as he was trying to make sure that a bouncer doesn’t go all the way too the boundary. Limping, struggling with injury, the Peshawar born Rizwan played a fantastic knock of 71 of just 51 balls against a quality Indian attack and made sure that his team is in a comfortable position before leaving it to the finishers.

According to a recent statement by the Pakistan Cricket Board they just wanted to be sure of the extend of Rizwan’s injury leading up to the business end of the tournament. While he did seem in a bit of pain while batting, he eventually did seem to get comfortable towards the end of the innings.

The ‘ Men in Green’ will be hoping that it’s nothing serious as to make matters worse the Babar Azam led side unfortunately doesn’t even have a back- up wicket- keeper in the side at the moment. There are also injury concerns with Shahnawaz Dahani who was also ruled out due to a slight niggle ahead of their Super 4 encounter against arch rivals India on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Pakistan beat India by 5 wickets and made it 1-1 in the Asia Cup as both the teams seem to be hot favourites to make it to the all important final.
