The Indian Premier League is just around the corner and cricket fans worldwide certainly can’t stop doing double cart-wheels in their backyard! That’s how excited everyone is as the cash-rich league which was supposed to get underway on the 29th of March 2020 got effected due to the ongoing CoronaVirus.
While many teams have now already reached the UAE, there are a lot of last moment decisions being made and in a recent development in the KKR Camp, the franchise has announced Chris Donaldson has their new strength and conditioning coach. Donaldson who belongs from New Zealand has represented his country in the Olympics on 2 occasions in the year1996 and 2000 respectively.
He was also associated as a coach with the New Zealand Cricket Team for 8 years and is massively respected by cricketers across the globe. Along with this, his national record in the 4x100m relay still holds true! This certainly seems to be a great move by the Kolkata Knight Riders Management ahead of the IPL 2020. If the backend is strong, the show always goes smooth and there is absolutely no doubt that Donaldson will do everything it takes to execute his role to perfection.
The KKR bowling coach Kyle Mills was also pretty excited with Donaldson’s inclusion and quoted,“You spend a lot of time trying to catch him and you never will. He is an amazing person and he is an absolute professional. I think it’s going to be a big feather in our cap to have him on board”,
