Cricketing fraternity bids Irrfan Khan adieu


29th April has brought some devastating news with it. Versatile actor Irrfan breathed his last in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. The actor who was suffering from cancer, was 53 years old and was admitted to the hospital last week due to a colon infection.

He was one of the greatest artist we had and even made a name for himself in Hollywood by doing movies like Oscar winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and Steven Spielberg’s ‘Jurassic Park’. To his credit, he has great cults like Paan Singh Tomar, Haasil, Piku etc. He was also known to be a great humanitarian and social worker.

Even the cricketing fraternity extended their condolences to the family of the bereaved and paid tribute to the man. From Sachin Tendulkar to Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ravichandran Ashwin and many other cricketers expressed their sadness via a tweet.
