Ever since the new management including Graeme Smith and Mark Boucher has come to the fore, the talks of De Villiers considering coming out of retirement have been doing the rounds. In fact, both parties have officially stated that talks have resulted in positive movement ahead.
Now, in a sensational claim, AB recently stated that Cricket South Africa have offered him leadership of the South African team. “The desire is there from my side to play for South Africa and have been asked by Cricket South Africa to lead the Proteas again,” the RCB player said. It will be interesting because just recently Quinton De Kock was given the role.
