The Covid-19 pandemic has meant that for the first time after World War 2, all cricketing activity has been stalled. And not just Cricket, all other sporting and economical activities have been brought down to the their knees.

In this sea of bad news there is a slight glimmer of hope for Cricket fans. National broadcaster DoorDarshan has decided to air cricket matches from 2000s amid the 3 week lockdown. This will give cricket romantics an opportunity to go down memory lane and relive those good old days.
The BCCI announced the news by tweeting from their official account. This after Star Sports also decided to do the same and air classic Indian matches to help fans pass these difficult times and encourage them to stay home.
