This is the season of looking ahead at the future or reminiscing and reliving events of the past. That’s because when it comes to live sport and cricket in particular there is absolutely nothing happening in the future. So in order to still keep relevant in the present times, scores of players, past and present have been busy picking their all time 11’s or predicting future squads etc.
One ex-cricketer who has constantly been in the news even in these boring quarantine days, is Gautam Gambhir. To his credit, he’s not just in the thick of things for cricketing reasons or punditry, but also because he has been doing some amazing humanitarian work in his capacity as an MP and the head of Gautam Gambhir Foundation.
The southpaw recently picked his 7 man bowling attack for the World T20 scheduled to be held in October-November in Australia. The Delhi MP picked 4 out and out fast bowlers, 2 spinners and Hardik Pandya. He had Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Navarro Saini as his fast bowlers and Kuldeep Chahal, Yuzvendra Chahal as the spinners.
