The Indian Cricket Team recently created history by winning a Test Series against Australia in Australia- The kind of feat no Indian Cricket Team has ever achieved in the past.
Yes, there was no David Warner and neither Steve Smith but then there was no Anil Kumble either in 2001. The Indian Cricket Team lacked bench strength back in the days just like the Australians did now. KL Rahul and Murali Vijay were mere passengers but Mayank Agarwal and Hanma Vihari immediately came to the rescue- Exactly the kind of DNA good Test Cricket Teams are made off!
While everyone has been talking about India’s win over Australia ever since, the latest to join the band-wagon was the former Captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team who now also happens to be their Prime Minister- Imran Khan. Khan, who has cricket in his blood resorted to the micro-blogging site Twitter and congratulated Virat Kohli and the Indian Cricket Team. While doing so, he also reminded everyone that the Indian Team is the first ever Asian Team to win a test series in Australia which is certainly no rare feat.
Congratulations to Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team for the first ever win by a subcontinent team in a test series in Australia

India had a great Test Series as barring Perth they literally dominated Australia in all the other 3 test matches. Just for the record, The T20 series was played before the test series as the trophy was shared between the 2 sides when the rain gods befriended Australia just like it did at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Meanwhile, the 2 teams will stay back in Sydney as the ODI leg of the tour begins on the 12th of January. While India will certainly start as favourites yet again, Australia has brought in some fresh faces and would hope for some change of luck. It would be interesting to see how it all shapes up and we will leave it to that.
