Imran Tahir is probably the most travelled cricketer in the world and has represented a record number of professional cricket teams. He currently only plies his trade in the shortest format of the game as he retired from ODI cricket after last year’s World Cup held in England. In the decade gone by, he was easily the most sought after limited overs spinner who bamboozled one and all with his variations.
Tahir has played most of his International cricket and Faf Du Plessis’ leadership and has been playing under MS Dhoni since the 2018 IPL. He was recently asked to pick the sexier cricketer between the two and the wily leg spinner left that one beautifully outside the off stump. “It’s a tough one…. they both are cool and smart,” was his reply.
The 41 year old Pakistan born South African cricketer was last seen playing for Multan Sultans in the latest edition of the PSL. He was asked to name his favourite South African cricketer of all time and this time he had no hesitation in going with the legendary Hashim Amla. Imran’s performance has been exemplary in T20I’s where he has grabbed 63 wickets in just 38 matches.
