The IPL 2021 finally went underway as the Boys From Bollywood set a date with Virat Kohli and his men. It may have gone to the last ball but both teams will accept that they certainly did not put their best foot forward.
While Mumbai managed 159, thanks to Chris Lynn and a cameo from Sky, Harshal Patel did no wrong with his fifer which stalled the Mumbai Indians to quite an extent. In the end, it wasn’t really a comfortable win for the RCB but the management would be happy to see the likes of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers going all guns blazing.
The star of the show though was certainly the young Patel who Kohli has already labelled as their death bowler of the tournament. The RCB Captain quoted, “They came back well too after losing Rohit early those last six overs for us were probably the best six we’ve ever had. We brought Harshal in a trade from Delhi. He is relishing the responsibility and is clear with his plans. He was the difference today. He is going to be our death bowler”.
Cric Crak wishes more power to the young Harshal Patel and hopes he has a bight future.
