Sachin Tendulkar might be towards the end of his career once the IPL hit the Indian market but the Little- Master certainly did not fail to bow out in style.
While he was the first Indian to win an orange cap in the cash-rich league while achieving this feat in 2011 he went on to amass a total of 2334 runs with 13 half-centuries and a hundred to his name. While Tendulkar had Ambati Rayudu for company, the former got to the three-figure mark in just 66 deliveries against the Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
Interestingly, that was the first-ever match at the Wankhede Stadium after the 2011 WC Final and Tendulkar fans will certainly in for a massive treat. While the Mumbai Indians lost the match in the end, Sachin’s only IPL century will always be remembered for the way he smacked the likes of Vinay Kumar, RP Singh & Ravindra Jadeja.
