Just In: BCB Postpones The Upcoming Series Between World XI & Asia XI Amid Corona Virus Concerns


In some breaking news coming in the Bangladesh Cricket Board has declared that the 3 matches scheduled between Asia XI & World XI for the 21st, and 22nd March have been postponed until further notice.

Moreover, the BCB has also postponed the concert of AR Rahman which was also scheduled to take place at the Shere Bangla Stadium on the 18th of March to mark the birthday celebrations of Sheikh Mujib ur Rahman. According to a few talks doing the rounds in the cricketing circuit. The series included multiple stars from different parts of the world like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Rishabh Pant, Jonny Bairstow & many more.

With the cases of Coronavirus also growing in Bangladesh the Board did not feel it made any sense to go ahead with the league. In a recent statement, they also added that there is even no guarantee that the players will be able to arrive on time amid growing concerns and difficulties while exiting and entering any country during the time of a medical emergency.
