Just In: BCCI Takes A Massive Decision On The IPL 2019!
The Indian Premier League 2019 is all set to begin on the 23rd of March 2019 and the BCCI has taken a big step before the action gets underway.
They have discontinued the services of the ICC Anti Corruption unit for the upcoming edition and have decided to set up their own APU instead. The board had to shell a whopping Rs 3.2 Crore last season which seemed quite steep to them and as a result, they have decided to do this in-house.
The Board felt that they can get the same job done at just 10% of what they are paying at the moment and believed that it’s only wise to save that money. Meanwhile, the tournament opener will be played at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. As far as the corruption unit is concerned, Cric Crak hopes that the IPL stays clean and we will leave it to that.
