Australia is getting all set to host the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, before the marquee event begins in their own backyard the Australian Team is supposed to travel to India for a 3 match T20I series, beginning from 20th September.

In some concerning news coming from the Australian camp, the baggy greens will be missing the services of Mitchell Marsh, fast bowler Mitchell Starc and the all-rounder Marcus Stoinis in the tour of India as the Aussie trio are suffering due to injuries.

As per cricket.com.au, the wounds are minor yet Cricket Australia took the choice not to gamble with the players remembering the T20 World Cup to be played at home, beginning one month from now.

This new development in the build-up will additionally exhaust the Australian side as David Warner has been given a break from this tour.

The Australian selectors have included Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott as substitutions for Starc, Marsh and Stoinis.

While Marsh and Stoinis experienced the injuries during the ODI series against Zimbabwe and New Zealand, Starc’s was a late observation following a few tests on his knee on Wednesday.

Australia will play three T20s against has India at Mohali on September 20, Nagpur on September 23 and Hyderabad on September 25.

After this much talked about tour to India, Australia is set to play the T20 series against the West Indies and England in the development to the T20 World Cup.
