Whenever you speak your heart out you are always in the limelight and Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh is no exception. What he often says might not be the truth or maybe it is? Well, Cric Crak is no judge and certainly has no business to decide that.
It’s an emotional father feeling bad for his son who he strongly believed could have contributed a lot more and we shall leave it to that. Meanwhile, Yograj Singh had recently quoted that he truly believed that many in the Indian team have backstabbed Yuvraj Singh which also includes the current Indian captain Virat Kohli.
Interestingly his statement came right after Yuvraj Singh recently expressed how he did not get the amount of backing he expected from the likes of Kohli and Dhoni as compared to how the Prince Of Kolkata Sourav Ganguly who always stood by his side.
While there have been mixed opinions about Yograj’s latest statements on social media, the former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif certainly did not shy away from giving his opinion. When asked Kaif quoted, “I don’t think that Yuvi’s father’s allegation is true. But yes, Yuvi is a shorter format cricket champion, he should have got more opportunity. But in India, if a player lost his form for few matches then it’s not easy to save the spot. Because many talented players are waiting to enter Team India,”
One of the best Indian fielders in the world clearly did not seem to agree with Yograj Singh but meant no disrespect to him either. Having said that, he also agreed that his old friend Yuvraj should have certainly got a few more shots before going down. Cric Crak would love to know your opinion on this one. Did Yuvraj’s career end sooner than expected after he fought his way back after battling a life-threatening disease? Do let us know in the comments section below.
