Reports: BCCI to take a final call on the IPL by March 30th, likely to be further postponed amid Coronavirus outbreak

The Coronavirus graph is only going upwards as days pass by and more than 100 countries have had to suffer the fate of the deadly virus till now.

Community transmission seems to be the most major cause for it to spread and the Indian authorities have placed more than 80 cities and districts across the country under stringent lockdown. While the ‘World Leaders’ are pleading the public to stay home, the Indian Premier League seems to be a very small problem compared to what the world is going through at the moment.

Till a few days back it was reported that the BCCI Head, Sourav Ganguly, might get on a conference call with all the 8 franchises. According to a recent publication in India Today, the BCCI is now likely to make a final decision towards the end of March. If sources are to be believed they might also look at a much-curtailed version towards the end of the year and maybe even in a different country altogether if at all it comes to that.

Meanwhile, here’s hoping world peace returns soon. Cric Crak wishes more ‘Power’ to you all!
