Ryan Harris appointed the new bowling coach of Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020


In some breaking news coming in the Delhi Capitals have appointed Ryan Harris as their new bowling coach ahead of the IPL 2020. He was an integral member of the Australian Cricket team until bowing out due to a knee injury which was bothering him since quite some time.

Harris, 40, will soon join the party in the UAE and his inclusion will certainly add immense value to their already strong coaching staff which includes the likes of Ricky Ponting, Mohammad Kaif and a few other prominent personalities.

Ryan Harris quoted to the official Delhi Capitals website,”I am delighted to be back in the IPL.This is a huge opportunity for me to contribute to the franchise’s ambitions of lifting the coveted IPL trophy. The Delhi Capitals side has an impressive bowling line-up, and I can’t wait to start working with them all.”

The previous bowling coach of the Delhi Capitals, James Hopes, opted out last moment citing personal reasons which opened the doors for Harris who is raring to go and work with the likes of Ishant Sharma, Kagiso Rabada, Chris Woakes etc during his tenure .

The Sydney born former Australian Cricketer has also been a part of the IPL previously ( as a player) as he applied his trade for the Deccan Chargers and the Kings XI Punjab in the past. He was also the bowling coach of Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 2019. We at Cric Crak’ wish more ‘Power’ to Ryan Harris and wish him all the luck in the upcoming IPL season in the UAE.
