Shoaib Akhtar is one of the most controversial characters in the game of cricket and he often finds himself embroiled in controversy. The latest example of his outspoken nature putting him in trouble is that when he took on PCB’s legal cell head Taffazul Rizvi, he was served a defamatory notice.
Recently ICC in a bid to keep cricket fans engaged even as all cricketing activity is halted, had come up with player battles from the past and the present. They asked fans who would come up trumps in an individual battle with a player of a different era. One of the mouthwatering battles was between Akhtar and Steve Smith.

Shoaib Akhtar who tends to overplay his cards from time to time, said that three hurting bouncers and he would get Smith on the fourth delivery. Not only the fans, but even ICC made fun of Shoaib and used a Micheal Jordan meme for the same. This didn’t go down well with the speedster and he accused the ICC of throwing neutrality out of the window.
