Shoaib Akhtar is a straight-talker and even though he overdoes it sometimes, he’s never shy to let his opinion be known to the public. It is perhaps this very quality, that has catapulted the former fast bowler into one of the fastest growing cricket YouTubers in the world.
This time on his radar was the legal department of the PCB for choosing to ban Umar Akmal for a period of 3 years on the offence of failing to report an approach for fixing. Shoaib in his quintessential style used the choicest of words for the Faisal Rizvi, a lawyer in the board’s legal department.
However, the Rawalpindi express made a sensational allegation against PCB stating that they gave their digital rights to a company called IWT. The contract mentioned that they can sub-let the content and in case the matches are shown online, they can be bet on. Shoaib went on to say that this was against the law of Pakistan and even “against Islam”.
