The heart-throb, left handed opener of the Indian Women’s cricket team, Smriti Mandhana connected with her fans through a back and forth discussion on Twitter in the midst of the Covid lockdown in April’2020. The inquiries and conversations went from her expert profession to her own life, with Mandhana even going to the extent of telling her fans, who was her crush while growing up.
On being requested t0 tell the name of her crush, Mandhana rushed to answer by labeling Bollywood entertainer Hrithik Roshan.
“For me Hrithik Roshan has been my crush since forever now”, she expressed.

Mandhana was important for the Indian team who eventually ended their run as runners up in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia. Despite the fact that her teammates like Shafali Verma and Poonam Yadav partook in a decent run in the competition, Mandhana attempted to get moving, enrolling low scores of 10, 11, 17, 11. India lost to hosts and ace title contenders, Australia by 85 runs before a stuffed MCG swarm in the last. It was a game that broke fan commitment records in ladies’ cricket.
According to the ICC site, the competition was the most-watched ICC ladies’ occasion ever and the second best ICC occasion after the remarkable ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2019.
