Virat Kohli To Drop 2 Star Players For The Third ODI?

The problem with a 3 match series is the fact that there is no room for chopping or changing. Having said that because there is such less time to the ICC World Cup 2019, there is a serious chance for a few changes to take place.

While India dropped Khaleel Ahmed post the first game, if reports are to be believed, the Indian Captain Virat Kohli is all set to make a couple of massive changes during the 3rd ODI which is scheduled to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. For starters, Virat Kohli did hint that they have Vijay Shankar in the mix and there is a possibility that he might be given a look in.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Siraj also might face the axe after a not so impressive ODI debut while Khaleel Ahmed might return to the mix. The captain would also want to find a way to find a spot for the right-handed Kedar Jadhav but Dinesh Karthik hasn’t done anything wrong to be dropped either. Having said that, the Indian Team has always believed in the horses for courses policy and you never know with Virat Kohli either. Maybe even Rayudu might face the axe instead! Meanwhile, India will start as firm favourites to clinch the ODI series at Melbourne but the Australian Cricket Team would realise that a series victory here could to their confidence a world of good before the mega tournament in mid-2019.
