Mumbai Indians spinner Rahul Chahar is yet again under the scanner for venting his anger at the opposition batter. In the ongoing game between the defending champions and Rajasthan Royals, Chahar turned out to be Rohit Sharma’s go-to-man as he bagged the vital wickets of both the Royals openers.
Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal got the Royals to a flying start, scoring 66 runs for the opening stand. However, soon after Buttler, Jaiswal too perished for 32 off 20 balls. Chahar bowled a googly at the leg stump and the batter put forward a return catch. Chahar looked aggressive as he threw the ball towards the batter apart from venting his anger.
It clearly didn’t go down too well with the fans as many are accusing the spinner of being arrogant. Chahar has been an in-form bowler for Mumbai this season. He has so far scalped 11 wickets in six games. He ended up with figures of 2/33 against the Royals. The Sanju Samson-led side has put up 171/4 on the board. Mumbai in reply have got off to a solid start, putting on 49 runs for the first wicket. Both the sides are desperate to earn two points and move to the top half of the points table.
