Yuvraj Singh has constantly been chatting up with friends and media during this lockdown period. In fact, it’s not just Yuvi but most cricketers including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal to name a few. Singh, who announced his retirement from cricket last year has often made controversy ridden statements recently.
From saying that he didn’t enjoy the trust of captain MSD to saying that he didn’t see any role models in the current India setup. In his Instagram chat with Jasprit Bumrah, the Chandigarh born player seemed in better spirits and back to his usual playful best. He talked about various topics which included the Sachin vs Virat debate, to the time when Yuvraj first thought of retirement.
However, one anecdote stood out and it related to the left handers conversation with ICC match referee and former England cricketer Chris Broad who also happens to be the father of Stuart Broad. The ex-India player said “Chris Broad came up to me and said you almost finished my son’s career. Now sign a shirt for him.”
